Montreal, September 29, 2026. Midland Exploration Inc. (\u201cMidland\u201d)<\/strong> (TSX-V: MD)<\/strong> is pleased to announce that Mr. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Larivi\u00e8re has been appointed Vice President Exploration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Larivi\u00e8re holds a B.Sc. with Honours in Earth Science, with a concentration in Economic Geology, as well as a Ph.D. in Mineral Resources from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. With nearly 25 years of experience in mineral exploration, he is also an active member of the Ordre des g\u00e9ologues du Qu\u00e9bec and has served on CONSOREM\u2019s scientific management committee since 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With his metallogenist background, he has worked at Midland as a project geologist and a specialist in 3D modelling, GIS data processing and information technology for 15 years. He has worked on the Company\u2019s projects in the James Bay and Abitibi regions, in the Grenville and the Labrador Trough, which has given him the opportunity to work in a variety of geological settings. Since 2023, he has been Midland\u2019s Chief Geologist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
